Talbots promotes exec to oversee merchandising strategy

Hingham, Mass. The Talbots has promoted Lizanne Kindler to the position of executive VP general merchandise manager.

Kindler will be responsible for overseeing the merchandise strategy and direction for the company’s core apparel, shoe and accessories businesses across all channels, including its e-commerce site Talbots.com.

Prior to joining Talbots in 2008, Kindler worked as senior VP and general merchandise manager of Ann Taylor Loft.
