Papa John’s promotes exec to division SVP

Louisville, Ky. Papa John’s International promoted Tony Thompson to SVP of PJ Food Service, the company’s food-service production and distribution division. He replaces the division’s former president Julie Larner, who is leaving to pursue other interests, the company said.

Thompson will oversee the company’s quality control center operations and strategic supply chain management. Thompson, the former VP of the company’s quality control center operations, will also oversee the company’s printing and promotional subsidiary, Preferred Marketing Solutions. He will report to founder and CEO John Schnatter.
