Duluth, Minn. -- Maurices, a subsidiary of the Ascena Retail Group, announced that Ali Wing has been named chief marketing officer, executive VP of digital commerce. Wing joins Maurices after 10 years as CEO and founder of giggle, a multichannel retailer, wholesaler and licenser of baby products.
Wing started her career with Nike in marketing and later moved into corporate development. She also built brand, marketing and digital strategies for a venture capital-backed multichannel retail concept called Gazoontite and went on to work with companies like G&J Publishing, Inc. to help build online brand strategies for parent/family brands in their portfolio prior to leaving to start giggle.
