B&N offers free holiday shipping, instant electronic gifts

New York – Barnes & Noble is offering free shipping on any Nook e-reader device purchased online by 11 a.m. ET on Dec.23, with delivery guaranteed by Dec. 24. In addition, Barnes & Noble loyalty members get free express shipping on orders placed online by Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. ET, with guaranteed delivery by Dec. 24.



For most other products offered on BN.com, customers can get free shipping on orders of $25 or more placed by Dec. 17, with guaranteed delivery by Dec. 24. And same day delivery service is available through Dec. 24 for deliveries to Manhattan addresses in New York City; orders placed online by 11 a.m. ET will be delivered by 7 p.m. on the same day.



In addition, customers can purchase a Nook book or Nook app online or in store and have it sent as a gift via email for instant access. Customers can add a message and choose the exact date and time of delivery. Instant email delivery is also available for electronic gift cards.
