NRF 2024 will feature a special one-day program dedicated to supply chain resilience.

The National Retail Federation is putting a spotlight on one of the most crucial elements in the success and sustainability of any retail business: supply chain optimization.

As supply chain disruptions continue and customer behavior evolves, ensuring a resilient supply chain has never been more important — or more challenging, noted the NRF.

To help retailers navigate the challenge, NRF 2024: Retail’s Big Show will feature a special one-day program — Supply Chain 360 Summit — on Sunday, Jan. 14, 10:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (ET), at the Javits Convention Center, New York City.

The event, open to all retailers, will provide a deep dive into solving retail's toughest supply chain issues. It will bring together retail supply chain professionals, including the chief supply chain & logistics officer of Target, and industry experts such as the executive director of the Port of Long Beach to share strategies and tactics, taking a holistic look at the modes and methods needed to build a stronger supply chain.

Additionally, the recent acquisition by NRF of the Reverse Logistics Association provides participants with an even greater level of expert insights into the important issue of supply chain circularity.

The speakers at the supply chain event will include the following;

•Mario Cordero, executive director, Port of Long Beach;

•Roger Guenther, executive director, Port Houston;

•Suresh Krishna, CEO & president, Northern Tool + Equipment;

•Andrew Laudato, executive VP & COO, The Vitamin Shoppe;

•Gretchen McCarthy, executive VP, chief supply chain & logistics officer, Target;

•Debb Minskey, Business Developer, Ikea;

•Beth Rooney, manager of port security, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey;

•Kamau Witherspoon, CEO, Shipt;

•Colin Yankee, Executive Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Tractor Supply Company
