There’s been a change in leadership at an Urban Outfitters brand.
The apparel retailer has appointed Tricia D. Smith as global CEO of Anthropologie, effective immediately. She succeeds Hillary Super, who served in the role for two years and whose last day was April 9.
Smith joins Anthropologie from Tillys, where she has served as executive VP, chief merchandising officer, since October 2019. Smith is a Nordstrom veteran, having spent some 26 years with the department store company during the course of her career, most recently as executive VP, general merchandise manager, women’s, designer, active apparel and lingerie, from 2016 to 2019.
“We are pleased to welcome Tricia into the URBN family,” said Richard A. Hayne, CEO Officer, URBN. “She is an accomplished leader with extensive merchant experience. She understands the Anthropologie customer, and I’m confident she will successfully expand the brand’s equity and reach."
