Nordstrom Rack to open two new stores

Nordstrom Rack is continuing to expand.
Nordstrom Rack is adding to its store count.

Nordstrom is expanding its off-price store concept in two states.

Two new Nordstrom Rack stores are slated to open in Natomas, located in the Central Valley region of California, and in San Antonio, Texas. Following are details of each new store opening:

Natomas, Calif.

This 26,000-sq.-ft. store will be located in the Promenade at Sacramento Gateway, a shopping center owned by Fairbourne Properties LLC and managed by Fairbourne Properties LLC and CBRE.

With the addition of this new location, Nordstrom will operate 61 Nordstrom Rack stores, 23 Nordstrom stores, five Nordstrom Locals and one Asos | Nordstrom in California. The store is scheduled to open in fall 2023.

San Antonio, Texas

This 35,000sq.-ft. store will be located in Northwoods, a shopping center owned by CIM Group. With the addition of this new location, Nordstrom will operate 21 Nordstrom Rack stores and 8 Nordstrom stores in Texas. The store is scheduled to open in fall 2023.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. and plays a role in the company's Closer to You strategy, which focuses on delivering customers a more convenient and interconnected experience across its stores and digital platforms.

Nordstrom Rack offers customers up to 70% off apparel, accessories, beauty, home and shoes from many of the brands sold at Nordstrom stores, as well as core services like online order pickup, returns, and alterations at select stores. Nordstrom Rack is the largest source of new customers to Nordstrom.
