Nordstrom Rack expands 2027 planned openings with two CA sites — here's the list
Nordstrom Inc. is adding two new off-price stores to its 2027 lineup.
The department store retailer will open two new Nordstrom Rack stores in California next year, both located in the Los Angeles metro area. The new stores will be in Marina del Rey and Torrance. The locations join five other previously announced Nordstrom Rack 2027 openings. (See end of article for a list of the 2027 openings Nordstrom Rack has announced to date.)
"We look forward to being a part of the Marina del Rey and Torrance communities and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices," said Gemma Lionello, president of Nordstrom Rack. "We're excited to grow our footprint in the Los Angeles market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience."
The retailer has a host of new Rack openings planned for 2026, most recently adding locations in Colorado, Michigan and Texas to the list of soon-to-open stores.
Marina del Rey, Calif.
Opening in spring 2027, the 30,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack will be located at Marina Marketplace. The center, which includes Gelson's, Equinox and AMC Dine-In Theatre. Marina Marketplace, is located off Route 90 and Lincoln Boulevard and is leased and managed by JLL.

Torrance, Calif.
Opening in summer 2027, the 30,000-sq.-ft. store will be located at Rolling Hills Plaza. The center, which includes Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, BevMo, Nijiya Market and 24 Hour Fitness, is located at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Crenshaw Boulevard and is managed by La Caze Development Company.

Earlier this spring, Nordstrom announced plans to open two additional Nordstrom Local service hubs in the state, in San Diego and Danville. The 1,190-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Local One Paseo will open June 4 in San Diego, and the 1,214-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Local Danville will open on June 18 in Danville, which is an inland city in the Bay Area.
