Nordstrom Rack adds new store to 2025 lineup — here's the list

Nordstrom Rack is continuing to expand.
Nordstrom Rack adds new store to lineup.

Nordstrom’s off-price footprint continues its expansion across the Grand Canyon state.

The new 26,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack location will open in Surprise, Ariz. in fall 2025. The store will be located in Prasada North, a shopping center that is managed by SimonCRE. (The firm has developed and leased more than 4 million sq. ft. across the United States.)

This new location will bolster the off-price retailer’s growing presence in Arizona. Specifically, it will complement 11 Nordstrom Rack stores as well as one Nordstrom location.

Nordstrom’s newest store announcement comes only one week after the upscale retailer revealed plans to open three other locations — all slated to open spring 2025. The first will be a 25,000-sq.-ft. store located at Park West Village, a shopping center that is owned and managed by Casto. Nordstrom currently operates two full-line stores and two Nordstrom Rack stores in North Carolina.

In addition to the Park West Village location, Nordstrom Rack has announced several other 2025 openings, including:

• Pine Ridge Square, Coral Springs, Fla.;

•Westchase Shopping Center, Houston;

•Fischer Marketplace.  Apple Valley, Minn.;

•The Davis Collection, Davis, Calif.;

•Sycamore Commons, Matthews, N.C.;

•Randall Square, Geneva, Ill.; and

•Manalapan Commons, Manalapan Township, N.J.

By the end of Nordstrom’s fiscal year, which ends January 2025, the company plans to open a total of 22 Rack stores — up from 19 last year.

The company, which got its start as a shoe store in 1901, now operates more than 350 Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local and Nordstrom Rack locations. The retailer also operates digitally through its Nordstrom and Rack apps and websites.
