Winn-Dixie, Mayo Clinic partner for wellness site


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Winn-Dixie and Mayo Clinic announced the launch of an online initiative designed to expand the health and wellness resources available on the grocer’s Web site. Consumers visiting will find health-related information and special recipes. Additionally, a different health topic will be featured each month online as well as in the stores and advertising circulars.

In addition to offering our fresh produce, selections of naturals and organics, quarterly pharmacy wellness clinics, and supporting health-related organizations in our communities, joining forces with a prestigious organization like Mayo Clinic enables us to further help our customers make informed decisions about their health. 

Information provided by Mayo Clinic will cover topics such as diabetes, cold and flu, nutrition, healthy diet, heart disease, digestion, asthma and allergy, mens health, sun safety, cholesterol and breast cancer.
