Wal-Mart revamps U.S. store logo

BENTONVILLE, Ark. More than 15 years after the last revision, the Wal-Mart U.S. store logo is getting a new look.

The new logo will feature the word "Walmart" in blue followed by an orange star burst. According to the company, the logo signifies the changes taking place in its stores and its renewed sense of purpose to help customers save money and live better.

The logo is scheduled to begin appearing on storefronts this fall.

The last revision of the Wal-Mart logo was in 1992.
