Toys"R"Us extends holiday store hours

WAYNE, N.J. Toys"R"Us announced that with nearly one week left until Christmas, it is extending store hours and its free shipping service.

Toys"R"Us stores across the country will open earlier and close later than ever before, the company announced, enabling customers to shop before work and after kids' bedtime. Toys"R"Us locations will be open from 7a.m. to midnight Dec. 16  and 17. Beginning Dec. 18 through Dec. 23, Toys"R"Us stores will remain open from 6 a.m. to midnight (some until 1 a.m.). On Christmas Eve, stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  

The company also announced that it has extended its free shipping offer as an added incentive for last-minute holiday shoppers. Through Thursday, Dec. 17, cyber shoppers can take advantage of free shipping on thousands of items with their purchase of $49 or more.
