Target.com to expand free shipping for holidays

Minneapolis Target Corp. said Friday it has expanded the number of products on its Web site that will be shipped for free during the holidays by 50% to more than 100,000.

If a customer buys one of the designated items and spends more than $50 on Target's Web site, he or she will get free shipping beginning Nov. 1. Target.com will also offer guests a 15% discount on all furniture orders of $125 or more from Nov. 1 to Dec. 20.
