Target expands number of mobile phone centers
MINNEAPOLIS Target announced that this summer it will expand the number of stores offering full-service mobile phone centers as an added convenience to guests. The Bullseye Mobile centers, a partnership with RadioShack, are in-store wireless shopping stations that enable Target guests to purchase mobile phones and activate contracts from three of the nation's top carriers, the company reported. Beginning Aug. 15, Bullseye Mobile will roll out to additional Target stores. By mid-2011 the centers will be available in the majority of Target stores nationwide.
The centers will feature a selection of mobile handsets and accessories including headsets, cases and chargers, as well as service plans from the nation’s top carriers, all at competitive prices, according to the company. In-store activation will be available as well.
