Target to Carry New Hayek Line

Minneapolis Target has teamed with designer Sami Hayek—brother to actress Selma Hayek—to carry a new line of home furnishings and accessories.

Target said on Tuesday that it would launch Sami Hayek for Target, a limited-edition collection including items such as bedding, furniture and stationery.

The company added that products in the line have minimal packaging, and the packaging itself can be reused, recycled or made into other objects, like CD holders and file folders.

Target said the collection is available in stores in May; Some products will also be available online.
