London – Moms with kids younger than 18 are known to be discerning, and only two retailers made the list of top 10 best perceived brands among these special ladies. According to the latest Brand Index from market research firm YouGov, Amazon.com ranked number two with a score of 58.8, Skechers came in at number eight at 48.1, and Samsung nabbed the number 10 spot at 47.7.
Skechers also had the second-highest brand perception gain in the past year. CPG brand Band Aid took the top spot, and the rest of the list was dominated by CPG companies. M&Ms, which operates showcase stores in select locations, ranked number four with a score of 52.1.
Brands were ranked using an index score which measures brand health by averaging sub-scores on quality, satisfaction, impression, value, reputation and willingness to recommend. In a poll conducted during the past three months, YouGov surveyed 20,000 mothers with children younger than 18.
