In-Store marketing vet to head shopper intelligence provider


MONROE, Conn. — Spire, a provider of actionable shopper analytics to leading retailers and manufacturers, has announced hat Mike McMahon has joined the company as president.

McMahon has spent half his career in consumer packaged goods and the other half working in marketing services.

"Mike will now take up a key leadership role at Spire, committed to fine tuning Spire's strategy, managing our growth and exceeding all client and partner expectations,” said Paul Taylor, CEO and founder of Spire.

As a SVP marketing at ConAgra Foods, McMahon designed, built and led the integrated customer marketing team.At Nestle, he led a cross-functional team as director of marketing to maximize the relationship with the Walt Disney Company in North America, synergizing consumer package goods and entertainment marketing.

The rest of Mike’s marketing experience was developed at Alcone Marketing Group, a Top 100 agency, whose clients included Kraft, Nestle, ConAgra Foods, Dannon, Weight Watchers International and Lenscrafters.

In 2010, Mike was named to the In-store marketing hall of fame and has been in the Who’s Who in Shopper Marketing since 2009.
