Sprint prepaid service expands sales to 500 additional Walmarts

Warren, N.J. Sprint Nextel Corp. said its prepaid wireless service Common Cents Mobile is expanding sales into an additional 500 Walmart stores across the United States.

According to Sprint, the service will now be sold in 1,250 Wal-Mart Stores locations across the United States, including new markets for Common Cents such as Chicago/Central Illinois; New Orleans; Cincinnati; and Washington, D.C.

The service initially launched in May.
