Sneak Peak into Meijer’s Black Friday
Meijer has prepared a lot of holiday deals for the Black Friday weekend and is now offering a sneak peek to allow its customers plan ahead of time.
"Meijer means a lot of things to a lot of people, but we're especially focused this holiday season on making the experience easier for our customers," said Peter Whitsett, EVP of merchandising and marketing for the retailer. "By providing a sneak peek and featuring our traditional three full days of sales, our customers can plan ahead and choose how early or late they want to shop for the hottest holiday gifts."
A link to the ad previews for the three days – Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Saturday – was sent to mPerks customers, who currently receive e-mail alerts from Meijer, as well as the more than 1.2 million Meijer Facebook fans and Twitter followers. The deals on electronics, apparel and toys begin each day at 6 a.m. and continue while supplies last.
The electronic gifts offerings include iPad Air 2, Sony PlayStation 4, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, 8GB Kindle Fire HD and many others.
A wide assortment of toys is also offered and includes Disney Frozen Scooter, Kid Trax ATV Quad and Fisher-Price Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle, among others.
Meijer’s Santa Bucks will be available the Saturday after Thanksgiving and give customers a chance to save up to $50 on items across the store.
The coupons will be available in weekly advertisements and through mPerks, the company's digital coupon and reward program that allows customers the ease of digitally clipping savings on their smartphone, tablets or desktop computers. Signing up for Meijer mPerks is free at mperks.com or on the Meijer mobile app.
"Shoppers continue to be very strategic, focusing on special sales and promotions," said Whitsett. "We hope that providing the opportunity to create their own deals with custom coupons and shopping without the need for an alarm clock will prove, once again, that Meijer is the destination for all of their holiday shopping needs."
