Rite Aid offers chance to win gas
CAMP HILL, Pa. Rite Aid is offering customers a chance to win a year's worth of free gas valued at $2,600 when they transfer their prescriptions to the drug store with a qualifying coupon. Customers who do so will also receive a $30 gift card.
Rite Aid said it would award 31 customers a gas gift card totaling $2,600. The awards will be given out from June 6 to Jan. 10, 2009.
“With gas prices continuing to climb, pretty soon one of the only trips people will be making is to their local pharmacy for necessities like prescriptions because we are in such nearby convenient neighborhood locations,” said John Learish, Rite Aid senior vp of marketing. “We can’t control the price of gas, but for 31 lucky winners this sure will make traveling a bit easier.”
