Report: Walmart to sell concert tickets

Walmart has reached an agreement with Live Nation to sell event tickets at about 500 stores, Bloomberg.com reported.

According to Bloomberg.com, the service will be introduced in the next few months in such cities as Chicago and Los Angeles. Bloomberg.com was reporting on remarks made by Live Nation executive chairman Irving Azoff.

Azoff is reported as saying that under the agreement with Walmart, shoppers can purchase tickets for concerts, sports and other live events at cash registers in the store's entertainment department.
