Report: Blockbuster tests in-store concepts
DALLAS According to reports, Blockbuster is testing several concepts designed to keep users in its stores. Select Dallas-area stores have been chosen to test concepts such as giving customers the opportunity to rent movies at 6 a.m., selling cappuccino or fountain drinks and providing opportunities for movie watching, reading books and shooting videos inside the store.
The stores have also been designed to appeal to the demographics they serve, with features such as a video gaming center and a self-serve coffee bar.
