Amazon’s newest endeavor hopes to attract more Spanish-speaking shoppers.
The online retailer offering its website in Spanish, its first new language introduction since the site launched 20 years ago, according to
CNet.
The change, which will roll out over the coming weeks, will enable the U.S.’ 40 million Spanish-speaking and 10 million bilingual Spanish customers “to shop, browse and search for millions of products, view their shopping cart, and place orders in Spanish on Amazon.com and through the Amazon Mobile Shopping apps,” an Amazon spokeswoman said iin the report.
