Off-price retailer continues loyalty partnership

10/17/2016

As the loyalty landscape heats up, TJX Companies is renewing its existing program to remain competitive.

The off-price retailer announced a multi-year renewal of its partnership with Synchrony, a move that will continue to support financing for its five-year-old Rewards Credit Card program.

Cardholders earn $10 in rewards certificates when they spend $200 at any of TJX’s four U.S. retail chains, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post stores, or online. Meanwhile, TJX Rewards Platinum MasterCard users also earn points on purchases made outside of TJX’s retail chains, anywhere MasterCard is accepted.

Cardholders can also access loyalty rewards on their smart device through a mobile account management solution. Overall, the renewal will enable TJX to offer more customer benefits, stronger customer service and payment flexibility, according to a company statement.
