Price Chopper to refill ink cartridges

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. Price Chopper is expanding its ink cartridge refill program.

In collaboration with iFill Inkjets, Price Chopper refills the cartridges for half the price of buying a new one. The retailer began using the feature in certain stores in April but has since expanded.

“We're trying to go green as much as we can,” said Barbara Page, community and public relations manager for Price Chopper. “Every opportunity we have, we try to do something with the environment.”

The program is offered through the store’s photo department.
