Boca Raton, Fla. – Polaroid is opening three locations of its Fotobar experiential retail concept in the Los Angeles area, with the first debuting Nov. 18 at Westfield Culver City. The 300-sq.-ft.micro-stores offer a cube shape and Polaroid Color Spectrum logo, and customers can take a seat at the Fotobar and transform their pictures instantly from their smartphone, Facebook or Instagram into three different size Polaroid pictures which can be collected in unique Polaroid shadowboxes or other picture accessories.

Professional and knowledgeable retail associates known as "Fototenders" are available onsite to help. Polaroid Fotobar is expanding its micro-store retail concept with four additional California locations opening during the holiday season in Westfield malls in San Jose, San Francisco and Sacramento. These will join traditional stores currently operating in South Florida and Las Vegas. To celebrate these grand openings, the company is hosting an online sweepstakes now through the end of the year with 10 winners chosen at random to win a free year of Polaroid pictures.

"More than one billion pictures are taken every day, and Polaroid Fotobar is a fun, easy way to take them from your Facebook timeline to your wall at home," said Warren Struhl, founder and CEO. “Polaroid Fotobar is all about recapturing the magic and instant gratification of creating cherished pieces of art with your pictures."
