Platinum Studios adds to advisory board

LOS ANGELES Platinum Studios, an entertainment company that controls an international library of more than 5,600 comic book characters which it adapts, produces and licenses for all forms of media, announced that Dean Stackel,senior vp of strategic partnerships at Yahoo! Inc. and Rob Kenneally, senior packaging agent at one of the industry's leading talent agencies have joined Platinum's board of advisors.

Stackel manages a team that handles Yahoo!'s largest strategic partnerships as well as Yahoo!'s search deals and transactions that cut across Yahoo!'s vast internet businesses. Prior to his current role, Stackel ran the business development team for the Yahoo! Publisher Network and was personally involved with some of Yahoo!'s most significant partnerships.

Kenneally has been an agent in the television industry for over 15 years. In addition to functioning in all areas of television, including network and off-network packaging, he has been instrumental in helping clients, broadcasters, cable networks, and marketers explore new marketing models.
