OfficeMax honored by women's business group

NAPERVILLE, Ill. OfficeMax announced that it has been named the 2009 Corporate Partner of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners.

"We are proud to receive this distinction and value the mutually beneficial partnership we have established with NAWBO," said Ryan Vero, EVP and chief merchandising officer for OfficeMax. "NAWBO members provide valuable insights into the needs and wants of a key group of business customers and we look forward to a long and successful partnership."

NAWBO presented the award to OfficeMax at NAWBO's annual Women's Business Conference in Chicago during the opening session on June 25. OfficeMax is a major sponsor of the conference and will offer attendees on-site work stations that include wireless Internet access and electronic charging stations.
