Office Depot announces official small business of NASCAR

9/27/2010

BOCA RATON, Fla. Office Depot, in partnership with 3M, a fellow Official NASCAR sponsor, announced that Mike Pagano, owner of PaganoPhoto – Photos by Mike Pagano in Cedar Brook, N.J., has been named the winner of the sixth annual “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes. Pagano was one of two finalists in the national promotion.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford, featured Pagano’s small business logo on his race car during the nationally televised NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AAA 400 race at Dover International Speedway, while fellow driver Tony Stewart featured the small business logo of sweepstakes finalist Rose Berger, owner of Professional Cleaning Service in Greer, S.C., on his No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevy.

As the owner of the small business featured on the highest-finishing driver’s car at the end the race, Pagano’s PaganoPhoto – Photos by Mike Pagano was crowned the 2010 “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot.” Biffle finished the race in 19th position, while Stewart came home 21st.

Pagano and Berger were introduced as the sweepstakes finalists on Sept. 22 during a special segment on SPEED’s “NASCAR Race Hub” program. Berger, was randomly paired with Stewart, while Pagano, was matched with Biffle.

Both finalists received a $10,000 small business makeover from Office Depot and a VIP experience at Dover International Speedway. If Stewart or Biffle had won yesterday’s race, the small business featured on the winning car would have taken home $1 million. As the sweepstakes winner, Pagano will receive the use of the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” logo for one year.
