2/2/2017

Nordstrom Rack is going to set up shop in a rapidly expanding area of Los Angeles.

The retailer will open an approximately 27,000-sq.-st. store in fall 2017 at FIGat7th, an open-air center in the heart of downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) owned and operated by Brookfield Property Partners L.P.

The new Nordstrom Rack will join Target, H&M, Victoria's Secret, MAC and other retailers and restaurants at the center, which located at 7th & Figueroa Street.

"We've long been on the lookout for the right location to bring Nordstrom Rack to Downtown Los Angeles, and we couldn't be more ex-cited to join FIGat7th," said Karen McKibbin, president of Nordstrom Rack. "We feel this new location will provide better convenience for our customers who live and work downtown."

This will be the 12th Nordstrom Rack store in the Los Angeles area. The company also operates eight full line stores in the area and has been serv-ing customers in the state since it first opened at South Coast Plaza in 1978.
