MSLO sees growth in merchandising segment


NEW YORK Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia reported that revenues for its merchandising division were $11.8 million for the second quarter of 2010, as compared with $9 million in the prior year's second quarter.

Operating income was $7.3 million for the second quarter of 2010, compared with operating loss of $(0.7) million in the second quarter of 2009, which included an impairment charge of $(5.5) million.

According to the company, The Martha Stewart Collection at Macy’s continues to perform well, driven by strong sales in the soft home and housewares categories.
