Mega Brands in agreement with Ludorum to produce Chuggington toy line

MONTREAL Mega Brands announced that it has secured a worldwide agreement with Ludorum, to produce a range of Chuggington construction toys under its Mega Bloks brand.

The Chuggington toys will be based on characters from the popular pre-school television series and will launch in most parts of the world from autumn 2011 and the United States from spring 2012, the company reported.

"We are excited to partner with the Ludorum team," said Vic Bertrand, chief innovation officer at Mega Brands. "Chuggington is a great new property that offers engaging characters and tremendous creative building possibilities."
