Macy’s opens Super Bowl shop in Herald Square flagship
In anticipation of Super Bowl XLVIII, Macy’s has opened an exclusive NFL Shop at Super Bowl on the fourth floor of its flagship Herald Square in New York City. Macy’s will keep the 36,000-sq.-ft. space open through Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The shop features a Custom Zone to personalize Super Bowl apparel and accessories along with AFC and NFC zones featuring the caps, tees, hoodies, jerseys, and jackets from the championship and all 32 teams. Other special features include fan experiences, player appearances, video presentations, team trivia, an art show, a sports memorabilia auction and appraisal fair, and a countdown clock to Super Sunday on Feb. 2.
“With a kick-off position at the start of Super Bowl Boulevard, Macy’s Herald Square is a key player in the celebration of this historic Super Bowl game,” said chief marketing officer Martine Reardon. “We are extremely excited to create a unique retail environment within our iconic store that salutes the game, the host cities and, most importantly, the fans.”
