Macy's donates $1 million to Make-A-Wish Foundation

NEW YORK Macy’s announced that it has donated $1 million donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation through its holiday "Believe" campaign.

Macy's invited children to drop their stamped letters to Santa at its in-store "Believe Stations." For each letter, Macy's provided a $1 donation up to $1 million.

“We are truly grateful to Macy’s for creating the Believe campaign and for this wonderful contribution. This will help us grant the wishes of so many deserving children with life-threatening medical conditions,” said David Williams, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America president and CEO. “The Make-A-Wish Foundation also appreciates the generosity of everyone across the country who got into the holiday spirit and brought their letters to Macy's to help us receive the $1 million donation.”
