Lucky Brand rock revival set for 2016

9/28/2015

A strong roster of rock icons is coming to Lucky Brand stores and wholesale customers thanks to a licensing deal with Epic Rights.

Lucky Brand will create a new line of tops and headwear that feature artists represented by Epic Rights including KISS, Journey, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, The Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Airplane and CBGB. The apparel will be sold exclusively at Lucky Brand retail and wholesale locations nationwide and online beginning in spring 2016.

"Lucky Brand has always celebrated the world of music and rock 'n roll. This is one of our brand pillars and has been an integral part of our heritage for the last 25 years,” said Carlos Alberini, CEO of Lucky Brand. “We remain committed to music, and we will always look to expand our scope by working with new artists, studios and companies.

According to Lisa Streff, executive vice president of global consumer products for Epic Rights, said the firm’s roster of artists appeals to multiple generations and the arrangement with Lucky Brand creates new possibilities.

“Together, our two companies have limitless opportunities to deliver an authentic, cool line of shirts and headwear for men and women that capture the spirit of the music,” Streff said.
