Last chance: Huff event deadline nears

Walmart EVP of merchandise operations Scott Huff is scheduled to address members of the Bentonville Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce at an upcoming event.



Chamber members who belong to the Walstreet membership tier, typically companies that supply products or services to Walmart, are invited to attend a special event at the Sam’s Club auditorium on December 1. Advance registration is required and the deadline for doing so is Nov. 24. It is the first time in the Walstreet program’s nearly 10 year existence that an event has been held on premise at the home office of Sam’s Club or Walmart.



“We couldn’t be more excited to have someone like Scott Huff participate in the final Walstreet Speaker Series event of the year,” said Tammy Thurow, vp of membership and marketing at the Bentonville Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. “We are also incredibly excited about the opportunity Sam’s Club has given us to host this event in the auditorium at their home office. This promises to be one of our best ever Walstreet events and gives the program great momentum heading into 2015.”



The event, sponsored by Acosta Sales & Marketing, Kendall King Group, Snyder’s-Lance and White Cloud, begins with check in at 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 1.
