Kohl's gives back this back-to-school season

Kohl’s is launching an innovative program to attract shoppers to its back to school sales.


The retailer plans to featurechildren’s books from author Laura Numeroff now through September at Kohl’s stores nationwide and on Kohls.com. Each item is priced at just $5, with 100% of the net profit supporting children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.


“Kohl’s Cares is providing families with engaging children’s literature, while also supporting valuable programs for children at more than 160 hospitals across the country,” said Bevin Bailis, Kohl’s senior vice president of communications and public relations. “Families can take heart in knowing when they purchase Kohl’s Cares items, they are giving back to children and families in their community.”


The new Kohl’s Cares collection includes:


• “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” book and mouse soft toy

• “If You Give a Moose a Muffin” book and moose soft toy

• “If You Give a Dog a Donut” book and dog soft toy

• “If You Give a Pig a Pancake” book and pig soft toy

• “My Big Activity Workbook” book

• Board book set

• Lunch tote


Since 2000, Kohl's has raised more than $274 million for kids health and education initiatives through the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program.


Kohl’s has 1,164 stores in 49 states.
