Jo-Ann Stores offers discounts to teachers

HUDSON, Ohio Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores today announced that it is offering a Teacher Rewards discount program to all teachers to help promote creativity in the classroom. The program rewards teachers with a free discount card to use on all purchases during the 2007/2008 school year, plus provides advance notice of sales and special events. Jo-Ann has increased the discount this year giving teachers 15% off their purchases.

"The out-of-pocket costs that teachers spend on classroom supplies increases every year," said Riddi Kline, Jo-Ann vp of marketing. "By offering a discount program to lower these costs, teachers can continue to cultivate creativity among their students."
