Jo-Ann bolsters marketing and merchandising divisions
Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has added two industry veterans to lead the company’s marketing and merchandising divisions. The company has named Jim Wright as SVP of marketing and advertising, and Megan Featherston as SVP of merchandising.
“We are excited to welcome Jim and Megan to the Jo-Ann team,” said Riddi Kline, EVP, marketing and merchandising. “Throughout the course of their careers, Jim and Megan have proven themselves to be accomplished leaders in an ever-changing retail environment, and I am confident their knowledge and abilities will help us deliver an enhanced shopping experience for our customers.”
Wright has served in multiple marketing leadership roles at national retail brands. He was most recently SVP of marketing at Express where he was responsible for their brick-and-mortar and e-commerce advertising and marketing strategies. Wright will oversee the advertising, corporate communications, creative services and marketing teams.
Featherston’s background includes leadership positions for buying, product design and development, planning and allocation, as well as promotion in various retail environments. She was recently president of the fine jewelry business unit at Sears Holdings Corporation. Featherston will oversee the inventory management, merchandising, product development and sourcing and visual presentation teams.
