JCPenney exec to be honored by fashion charity
NEW YORK Liz Sweney, EVP women's apparel for JCPenney will be among the honorees at Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation's fifth anniversary celebration on Nov. 3. Other honorees include Neil Cole, chairman, president and CEO of Iconix Brand Group and Tommy Hilfiger. Presenters include Mike Ullman, CEO of JCPenney, and Terry Lundgren, CEO of Macy's Inc.
"In just five years, Fashion Delivers has proven its place in the fashion industry as the charity of choice, due in large part to the most passionate group of people the fashion industry has ever seen. We couldn't be more thrilled to honor and celebrate our colleagues, donors, supporters and individuals who embody our mission and contribute to our tremendous success in providing relief to those in need," stated Allan Ellinger, Fashion Delivers chairman.
Fashion Delivers is a not-for-profit organization that coordinates the donation and delivery of excess new products from the men's, women's and home furnishing's industries to areas in need.
