Hhgregg offers online ordering for Apple products

Hhgregg is offering online ordering with in-store pickup for Apple products, including iPhone, iPad and iPod models and Apple TV devices.



The move comes just a couple of weeks following the retailer’s preliminary third-quarter results which revealed poor performance in the consumer electronics and wireless categories and were below the company’s expectations.



“With the addition of ordering Apple products to our site, our mobile phone and tablet product offering is now more expansive than ever on Hhgregg.com, adding more choice and convenience for our customers,” said SVP of marketing Jeff Pearson. “Now, customers can order online and easily and conveniently pick up Apple products in-store without waiting at a checkout.”



The specialty retailer of home appliances, televisions, computers, consumer electronics, home entertainment furniture, mattresses, fitness equipment and related services operates 228 stores in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
