Hallmark launches mobile greetings service

Hallmark Cards has launched a new service to deliver greeting card style messages by cell phone.

The service will cost 99 cents per message and work with the majority of cell-phone models and networks.

The company said consumers already use their cell phones to communicate with others daily, and the new tool combines the immediacy of a text message with creative design and copy of a greeting card.
