Grocery Manufacturers launch food safety site

NEW YORK The Grocery Manufacturers Association has launched a new Web site to advocate for better food standards and to help the FDA get the funding it needs in order to make food as safe as possible.

The site, available at www.keepfoodsafe.org, offers information on food safety law and foodborne illness, as well as ways for consumers to reach out to their representatives to express their concerns over food safety. The site also provides links to further information on the FDA and food standards.
