Global brand developer appoints new VP, business development

CHICAGO, Ill. — Brand development and deployment services provider Schawk has appointed Michael Larkin as its new VP of business development.



In his new role, Larkin will be responsible for driving business development activities at consumer packaged goods companies across North America, helping those companies drive top line growth and improve efficiency at the brand level. He will focus on developing relationships with new accounts.



Founded in 1953, Schawk enables companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers. It provides companies with integrated strategic, creative and executional services across brand touch points.

Prior to joining Schawk, Inc., Larkin was most recently a sales executive with Vertis, Inc., a provider of targeted advertising and marketing solutions to retailers. His tenure at Vertis included positions in strategic account management, including the role of regional VP of sales, where he received a Chairman's Club award for outstanding sales management. Previous experience included business development positions in marketing and data analytics, servicing business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets.



Larkin earned a master’s in business administration from the Loyola University of Business and post-graduation, received an Accelerating Sales Force Performance certificate from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management Executive Program.
