GameStop To Close Corporate Sites in Philadelphia
Grapevine, Texas, GameStop Corp. confirmed it would close its Greater Philadelphia corporate operations, which it acquired through its purchase of Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp., by the middle of next summer. The company will close the former Electronic Boutique corporate headquarters in West Chester, Pa., and a distribution site in Coatesville, Pa.
“Other than stores in Greater Philadelphia and West Chester, we will have no presence there,” said Chris Olivera, a spokesman for GameStop.
GameStop plans to convert EB Games and Electronics Boutique stores to the GameStop banner.
