Five-Senses Monster

Keeping pets occupied and amused is a constant challenge for pet owners—and that’s especially true with dogs. That’s why a company called Aspen Products has created what it calls “the ultimate dog toy.”

Aspen claims its new Dogzilla toy (pictured) is the first dog toy to “simultaneously satisfy all five of a dog’s senses.” The toy is “infused with protein” to satisfy taste and comes with a vanilla scent for a dog’s sense of smell. The rubber lining appeals to a dog’s sense of touch and its blue color is easy for a dog to spot, since Aspen says that dogs “see blue in all of the same shades as humans.” And unlike many dog toys, it makes no sound so that a dog can enjoy “the beautiful sound of silence.”

Dogzilla is now available in most pet stores, comes in three sizes and is priced from $8.99 to $14.99.
