Dots raises awareness for breast cancer

10/1/2012

GLENWILLOW, Ohio — Dots, a leading women's fashion retailer, is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the fourth consecutive year to help raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment with the "Girlfriends Giving Back" program.

"We are thrilled to kick off another champion year for a worthwhile cause," said Dots CEO, Lisa Rhodes. "With the support of the Dots community, both customers and associates, the 'Girlfriends Giving Back' program can continue to help fund ground-breaking research and life-saving community outreach programs."

As a proud advocate of Susan G. Komen, Dots has donated more than $250,000 through this program over the last three years.

From Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2012, Dots will sell an expanded collection of "Girlfriends Giving Back" fashions including: charm bracelets for $5, pink animal print scarves for $8, 2 embellished tee shirts and a sequin tank top at $14.80, and dedicated Dots jeans for $22.80. For each item sold, Dots will donate $1 to $5 to Komen.
