Disney will expand its line of consumer electronics for children this year with a digital camera tough enough to handle the rigors of preschool kids.
The Disney Pix. Jr. digital camera will feature rubber-coated edges and three different models for girls and boys, including Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. The cameras will also have a special feature that places an image of a Disney character in a photo.
The camera line targets children ages 3 to 5 and is due to hit stores in late August or September at a price of $59.99.
Fisher-Price also has a new waterproof version of its Kid Touch Digital Camera due out later this year.
