Dick's launches winter coat trade-in program
PITTSBURGH — Dick's Sporting Goods has launched its first-ever winter coat trade-in event.
From Oct. 21 through Oct. 27, customers can donate their gently-worn winter coats at their local Dick's store. Donated coats will then be distributed in the United States to those in need through a partnership with World Vision.
During this week-long event, customers who donate a gently-worn winter coat and purchase a new coat at Dick's for $90 or more will receive a $20 off coupon for a future purchase, redeemable from Oct. 29 through Nov. 17.
"As cold weather is fast approaching, Dick's Sporting Goods is encouraging customers to donate a gently-worn coat at their local DICK'S locations so we can help children and families stay warm during the upcoming winter season," said Lauren Hobart, chief marketing officer at Dick's Sporting Goods.
