CVS enhances photo services

11/13/2008

WOONSOCKET, R.I. CVS/pharmacy announced it has enhanced its KODAK Picture Kiosks and Online Photo Center (www.cvsphotocenter.com).

Customers can, for the first time, create photo gifts using Kodak touch screen Picture Kiosks found at all CVS/pharmacy One Hour Photo Centers. The constantly expanding portfolio of gifts available online and/or in-store include one-of-a-kind photo cookies, photo playing cards and photo plates featuring the Disney High School Musical cast, Barbie and Hannah Montana, which put customers' favorite snapshots on display with their favorite characters.

The enhanced KODAK Picture Kiosks include a new, sleek on-screen menu designed to help customers quickly start a project, while learning more about other offerings. The new software automatically detects digital media (USB drives, memory cards, CDs, etc.) and organizes by date and folders, eliminating the time and hassle of searching for customers' favorite pictures, making it faster and easier than ever to create photos and special photo gifts in minutes.

For customers who prefer to manage their photos online, CVS/pharmacy also provides free online photo storage to its customers on CVSPhotoCenter.com. Here, customers can upload their images, order photo gifts and share photo galleries with friends and family. Prints ordered online can be picked up in as little as one hour at a local CVS/pharmacy Photo Center. The online photo center also features a new look offering a streamlined interface and additional features including photo slideshows and before and after editing views.
